Come join the Berkeley Postdoctoral Association for the Pedagogy Series Lunch (PSL) designed to provide a forum on pedagogy for postdocs.
Come join the Berkeley Postdoctoral Association for the Pedagogy Series Lunch (PSL) designed to provide a forum on pedagogy for postdocs.
Based on feedback from previous Pedagogy Lunch Series, the next number of meetings will consider different types of learning theory. Our discussions will detail each theory before exploring its applications to different disciplines. If you have specific examples of resources aligning with the learning theory for the month, please bring them to share and broaden our discussion.
This month the topic of discussion will be Project-Based Learning (ProjBL). ProjBL focuses on engaging students in extended investigations of real-world challenges. Proponents of ProjBL argue that it enhances students' conceptual understanding, collaboration, and creativity across a range of disciplines.
